Socioeconomic Study

In 2018, a socioeconomic study was carried out in a canton of San José province, surveying 4,156 households to gain insights into living conditions and pressing local needs.

The research highlighted key issues such as high unemployment rates, safety concerns, and significant infrastructure deficits. This data was pivotal in providing local leaders with a robust foundation for strategic, data-driven decision-making.

The findings influenced urban planning and resource allocation by focusing attention on critical community needs, allowing for targeted policies that aimed at improving residents' quality of life. By delivering accessible, clear results to stakeholders, the study underscored the value of informed governance in addressing socioeconomic challenges.

This collaborative effort ultimately set the stage for a more sustainable, responsive approach to local development.
